Meet your Trainer
For the past 11 years Micaela has worked in all areas of animal care, from dog daycare to private dog training to in home pet sitting and boarding. Micaela is currently training her Belgian Malinois, Nacho, to compete in the competition sport Protection Sports Association (PSA). She also has titled her 9-year-old Belgian Malinois in PSA, he is now retired, you may see him hanging out at dog e daycare every once in a while. Micaela also has a Jack Russel Mix, Scout, who she has titled in tricks through Do More with Your Dog. Scout and Micaela have earned their Advanced Trick dog Title, and they continue to work towards his expert trick dog title as well as his stunt dog titles. Certified through Tar-heel Canine Training INC, Micaela is a certified Master Dog Trainer in the following categories -

Day Training
If you are looking to get a little extra from dog daycare, day training with our professional dog trainer is program for you! Each dog will receive a specialized, custom training plan based on your dog's needs and your training goals. This program offers on and off-leash dog training, house manners training, and some specialty training, while your dog is enjoying a day of daycare. During their time here your dog will receive multiple one on one sessions with our trainer Micaela throughout the day, in order to ensure consistency in training, a minimum of 2 days a week is required for this program.
Disclaimer - After attending our day training program, please understand that training is not over for your dog. You will receive one lesson at the end of the week with our head trainer Micaela to transfer the training and provide you with homework to continue!
Private LESSONS
Private one on one lessons will be held at Dog E Daycare of Inverness with our professional dog trainer and a scheduled appointment. You will be involved during the session, learning and participating in proper handling to better guide you with way to communicate with your dog. Each lesson can go up to an hour and thirty minutes to allow clarification and ensure the success of you and your dog. A minimum of 5 consecutive lessons must be booked to provide consistency for your dog's training. At the conclusion of each private dog training lesson, you will receive homework to continue training during the week. Micaela is available via text, call or email to answer any questions you may have!
Board and Train

The board and train program are a highly effective and popular program for dog owners. An intensive training program with our professional dog trainer where your dog will receive concentrated training from our head trainer Micaela. Your dog will spend an extended period of time, in a structured training environment, where your dog will be our trainers main focus. This program offers consistency and structure, which dogs thrive on, your dog will be exposed to a consistent daily routine which includes the following - regular training sessions, exercise, socialization and down time. A structured program like the board and train helps dogs understand what is expected of them and reinforces positive behaviors. This program addresses on and off-leash dog training, behavior concerns such as reactivity, fear, anxiety and aggression. This training program works effectively as Micaela is able to work with them consistently for weeks at a time. Our board and train programs are customized to fit the needs and goals of your dog. By customizing a training plan for you and your dog, this ensures the success of each dog that comes through this program! At the conclusion of our board and train program, you will receive private dog training lessons with our professional dog trainer to transfer training to you!
